PROLAPS PRODUKTION is an independent production company run by Alicia Hansen and Stina Eriksson, based in Malmö and Gothenburg. Prolaps produces and co-produces fiction and documentaries in all formats and genres.
With their combined experience from Sweden's most renowned and acclaimed art house production companies, Hansen and Eriksson founded their own company in 2022 with the ambition to create entertaining and innovative projects of high artistic quality, while always appealing to a wider audience.
Their current slate includes projects with emerging and promising talents such as Alecio Araci, Balder Ljunggren, Moa Lundqvist and Simone Norberg. Their projects have been selected for several talent programs, and in the fall of 2023, Alecio Araci's feature film Rouges received production support from the Swedish Film Institute's "Talent to watch" initiative.
In 2024, Prolaps's co-production, the feature fiction "Armand" by Halfdan Ullman Tøndel, will premiere at the Cannes Film Festival. The film is produced by Andrea Berentsen Ottmar & Dyveke Bjørkly Graver, Eye Eye Pictures.
